The Panopticon's Similarities with Democracy:

  • A structure designed to empower the few to manage the many
    • in turn, the many are granted the transparency of the few's activities
      • by experiencing the awareness of another's presence and field of vision.
  • The few being a centralized authority (guards/federal government).
    • Under-wing, the many being under consequential subjugation.
    • As a consequence of the Revolutionary War, you could say America became it's own subject.
        • Originally conceived as a pauper or poor house in Britain.
  • Since it's architectural novelty in 1797, it has continued to be the formal choice for incarceration facilities.

According to philosopher & professor of ethics - Bentham (the creator) - the dynamic duality between language and law constitutes the enigmatic foundation of initiating new legal theory.

  • Autonomy - self governance through intelligent reaction
  • Heteronomy -  intended outcome of imbalanced reasoning

An example of "dual track" justice.

Oh uh, even Attorney General Loretta Lynch is not making autonomous decisions, her decision "is has been" briefed to her and made by others (Suggestion: Turn on captions).

Nobody wants to be played like a tool.

However, in the sense of collective society - each individual head is human capital for an increasingly chaotic economy.

Our solution - meritocracy - ought to reinforce consistency of institutional policy, practice, and procedure.

No eagle ever rests on it's laurels; even if they are olive branches.

Revisionist Digest:

  1. This painting was named the Son of Man.
  2. He is missing his right-hand fingertips and the corner of his left eye is exposed.
  3. In the disgraced realm of subliminal media, "payola" is a term for payment "off the record".
  4. On biblical record it is not said that Eve plucks an apple, but a red fruit.
  5. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." A public relations miracle for United Fruit & a contemporaneously oppressed Latin America.

Tendencies of Connection:

'A Surrealist Dream'

When the frequencies of conflict seem insurmountable - they're likely surreal (wholly formed in the cache hole of conspiratorial advancement via rhetorical fallacies).

Object of Time:

When judgement is passed, it ought to be consistent within the framework of an independent theory of mind. This framework is illustrated best by The American Revolution & the resulting documents of enlightenment ideals. The philosopher Thomas Paine (author of Common Sense) highlights the subject of judgement well in this quote:

"To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason, and whose philosophy consists of holding humanity in contempt, is like administering medicine to the dead, or endeavoring to convert an atheist by by scripture. Enjoy, sir, your insensibility of feeling and reflecting. It is the prerogative of animals. And no man will envy you these honors, in which a savage can only be your rival and a bear your master."
